Reprograming Keys?

hi guys i have just bought another galaxy its a 2004 ghia 130bhp model i am really pleased with it, i was driving a 1997 galaxy but it only had 90bhp!! anyway i am getting of the point.... the key that has come with the new car is a two button afair but it just is not working i have took it to a local auto electrition and he has told me the key fob is not sending any signal can this be fixed or will i need to go to ford and buy a new key ect.......... can any body tell where i should go to get this fixed

Hi there

Have a look on Ebay there's allways s/hand fobs and keys for sale, then just swop over the fob, if you have another working key you should be able to re -program it yourself following the guide in your handbook or look in the FAQ section on here. :rolleyes:
